Bocce

I have always been curious about the two wooden rectangular shapes on the ground in the field near Floods’ Hill in South Orange. I found out that it’s for a game called Bocce. I haven’t seen anyone playing it, but it used to be a popular game in the 80s. A Bocce club was formed in South Orange and they use to compete with fellow clubs in the region. It’s located behind South Orange Middle School by the duck pond.

Honestly, I am not pleased with my edit on yesterday’s post. I feel the edit took away from the image rather than add to it. I posted it before I realized what I disliked about it but just let it ride😅 I also noticed that I was starting to go down the rabbit hole of trying to shoot “captivating” images but soon noticed that it was getting “stale” quick and wasn’t natural.
